Naperville Man Charged With DUI After Crash Kills Woodridge Man

NAPERVILLE, IL — A Naperville man faces charges after police said he drove under the influence and caused a crash that claimed the life of a 41-year-old Woodridge man Friday. Frank P. Qualtier Jr., 54, of Naperville, was charged with aggravated driving under the influence and reckless homicide in connection with the fatal crash.
Police say Qualtier was driving a Dodge Ram west on Royce Road near Lisson Road when it crossed into the eastbound lanes and hit a Ford Fiesta head-on. The Dodge Ram flipped several times and landed upside down, according to police.
The driver of the Ford Fiesta was extricated from his vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

Police are still investigating the crash. Police asked anyone who witnessed the collision or has information to call the Naperville Police Department's traffic unit at 630-305-5379.
