Naperville Man Literally Stabbed Victim In the Back: State's Attorney
He attacked an acquaintance who had asked for a ride, according to the DuPage County State's Attorney

Alexander Iwerebon was arrested for allegedly beating and stabbing an acquaintance on Thursday, March 30, according to the DuPage County State’s Attorney.
A male acquaintance called Iwerebon asking for a ride, and Iwerebon met the acquaintance around 11:30 p.m. on Thursday, according authorities. Iwerebon allegedly beat the acquaintance and stabbed him multiple times in the back.
Iwerebon, 21, of Naperville, was arrested on the 1300 block of Aurora Avenue just after 5 p.m. on Friday, according to Naperville Police reports. He has been charged with two counts of aggravated battery, and he is being held at the DuPage County Jail.

“The allegations against Mr. Iwerebon are extremely serious,” DuPage County State’s Attorney Robert Berlin said. “Thankfully the victim is expected to make a full recovery from his injuries. This type of brazen attack will not be tolerated in DuPage County and will be met with the full force of the law.
A charge is merely an accusation of a crime, not a finding of guilt.
