NAPERVILLE, IL — Naperville Mayor Steve Chirico announced Monday that he will be holding weekly virtual town halls via Facebook Live. The conversations, called "Naperville Unscripted," will cover city news and include a question and answer portion.

“As part of the Bloomberg Harvard City Leadership Initiative’s leadership and management program that I’m part of, we’ve emphasized the importance of connecting with our community in ways that meet people where they are, especially during this year of change,” Mayor Steve Chirico said in a news release. “I’m looking forward to a fresh new way to engage with our community on an active platform and look forward to weekly conversations.”

The discussions will be held Wednesdays at 12 p.m. via Naperville's Facebook page. The first talk will be broadcast on Jan. 6.
