Naperville Park District Shares Senior Amateur Golf Tournament Results

Springbrook and Naperbrook Golf Courses held the Senior Amateur Championship on August 19 and 20, with 76 players participating in the Senior Flight (ages 55-69) at Springbrook on August 19 and 75 players participating in the Legends Flight (ages 70 and up) at Naperbrook on August 20.
The overall champion was Corey Buescher with a gross score of 73. Winners of the Senior Flight and Legend Flight were as follows:

Marty O’Connell, Legend-Gross score 76
Bob Savage, Legend-Net score 66
Corey Buescher, Senior-Gross score 73
Verma Pawan, Senior-Net score 66

“The weather was beautiful for the tournament, our first of the season,” said Naperbrook’s Head Golf Professional Tim Dunn. “We appreciated the support of tournament sponsors McAlister’s Deli and Sharko’s BBQ.”
