Naperville Park District Wants Your Input on New Activity Center Design

The Naperville Park District will host a series of public open houses beginning in January 2014 to seek community input on the design of a future activity center at 1760 Quincy Ave.

Although some needs already have been cited as high priority through previous community surveys, such as gymnasium space, indoor fitness space and an indoor walking and running track, the Park District plans to gather ideas from residents about other types of amenities to include in the building.

The public is invited to provide input at any of the following open house events:

Key community needs driving the planning of an activity center include the need for accessible year-round recreation for health and wellness, the lack of indoor space for seniors and the special needs community, and the need for active recreation opportunities for families, teens and the increasingly diverse cultures within Naperville.
