Naperville Crews Tackle Snow; City Advises Extreme Caution
Naperville officials say crews will be salting and plowing the city streets as the snow continues to accumulate.

NAPERVILLE, IL — Naperville city officials issued a warning to motorists to use extreme caution with navigating the roadways during Monday night's snowstorm. The snow, which began to quickly accumulate during the height of rush hour, is expected to reach up to 5 inches.
Salt trucks were out on the roads ahead of the snowfall, officials said. Plows and salt trucks will stay active on the roads as long as the snow continues to build up, according to an alert from the village.

The city also reminds residents to plow their driveways into their yards and away from the street to prevent excess ice buildup.
