Naperville Trash Collection Delayed Due To Dangerous Weather
Trash pickup is scheduled to resume Friday.

NAPERVILLE, IL -- As temperatures and wind chills continue to plunge well below zero, Naperville city officials have announced that trash collection will be canceled on Wednesday and Thursday. The cancellation affects both refuse and recycling pickup.
As a result, Naperville's Electronics Recycling Center and Environmental Collection Campus will be closed on Jan. 30 and Jan. 31.
When garbage collection resumes, residents who normally have their trash picked up on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday should place their trash containers at the curb by 6 a.m. Friday. City officials say collection crews will work to have trash collected by Saturday afternoon.
