Naperville's 2020 Parade Of Lights Canceled Amid Pandemic
The parade, set for Nov. 27 has been canceled due to the ongoing coronavirus.

NAPERVILLE, IL — Naperville's annual Parade of Lights has been canceled for 2020. The decision to cancel the Nov. 27 parade was made by Little Friends and the Downtown Naperville Alliance "in accordance with State of Illinois’ Restore Illinois Plan," according to a news release.
"We are saddened that we must cancel our parade this year, but it is out of an abundance of caution for the safety of all our participants, volunteers, and the public who would have attended this event that we reached this difficult conclusion," Mike Briggs, President and CEO of Little Friends said in the news release.
Katie Wood, Downtown Naperville Alliance Executive Director, added, "The Downtown Naperville Alliance echoes the sentiments of our community partners, Little Friends, and shares their sadness that we are unable to host the Little Friends Parade of Lights this year. Be assured that the downtown business district will still be illuminated beautifully and brightly all season long."
