Need an Angel and a Prayer? There's an App for That

Need an angel in your life? How about an angel in your iPhone? Jeanne and David Buddingh of Naperville have developed an iPhone app, Angel In My Phone, that allows one to give a friend or relative a personal “angel” and a prayer.

​”Today, as in the past, we continue to see angels as a symbol of protection and faith. Often times we give them as gifts to show loved ones that they are in our prayers. The Angel In My Phone app was created to combine this timeless tradition with modern technology,” David Buddingh said.

The is the Buddinghs’ first app through their company, Saints Be With Us. Scott Swoboda of Stratum Development Inc. in Wheaton helped them create the app, which they conceived of about two years ago.

“Our hope would be that people would ‘gift the app’ to others, like a mother sending an angel for safe travel to her children,” Jeanne Buddingh said.

The app costs 99 cents.
