New Indian Grocery Store Coming To Naperville

The store is expected to open in August 2017.

Patel Brothers will open an Indian grocery store after redeveloping a vacant property on Ogden Avenue, according to a statement released by the City of Naperville on Friday. The national grocery chain specializes in ingredients and cuisine of India and southeast Asia. The store will occupy just under half of the 88,000 square foot property. The remaining space will become a shopping plaza with shops and restaurants. "This is a huge win for the City of Naperville," Mayor Steve Chirico said in a statement. "For 15 years, this building has sat empty along one of the busiest corridors in our City....We welcome Patel Brothers to Naperville with open arms." Patel Brothers operates 52 stores across the county. This will be the fourth location in Illinois. Other stores are located in Chicago, Schaumburg and Hanover Park.
