She will be remembered fondly as a warm hearted, supportive parent who opened her home and heart to many kids.

Trina K. Clark

Age 66, of Shorewood, IL, passed peacefully Wednesday evening, January 15, 2020. She was born February 13, 1953, in Harvey, IL to Mary (Buchanan) and the late Bert Clark. Trina was raised and educated in Hazel Crest, IL a graduate with the class of 1972 from Hillcrest High School.

She was the beloved mother of Heather (Joseph) Aincham, April (Chris) Wiesenthal, Randall (Heather) Specht, Jeff (Melissa) Campbell and Corin Specht; devoted grandmother of Isabella, Grace and Kelsey; Karyna, Dylan, Andrew, Blake and Bryce; Joshua, Brianna, Addison and Randall Jr.; Camryn; Kaylei and Sophia. Trina was looking forward to becoming a great-grandmother in May.

Trina is also survived by her loving mother, Mary; siblings, Bert (Deborah) Clark, Rhonda (late Mike) Woods and Bryon (Glenda) Clark, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by her father, Bert Clark.

During her lifetime, Trina enjoyed working in her yard, making crafts and floral arrangements and cooking. She was well known for being an excellent cook. She was grateful for the traveling she did with the families that loved her as their own.

She will be remembered fondly as a warm hearted, supportive parent who was also a very caring nanny who opened her home and heart to many kids that have remained close to Trina to this day.

As it was Trina’s request, cremation rites have been accorded and a Celebration of Life Memorial will take place on Saturday, February 22, 2020, from 3:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. at Rigsby Builders Event Hall, 12719 Old Plank Dr., New Lenox, IL 60451.. In lieu of flowers, memorials in her name can be made to Gigi’s Playhouse (Gigisplayhouse.org) or the Ronald McDonald House (rmhccni.org).
