One Hospitalized In Naperville Fire

25 firefighters responded to the scene

NAPERVILLE, IL — One person was taken to the hospital Monday night after Naperville firefighters quickly extinguished flames at a multi-family unit on the 1700 block of Napoleon Drive. The alarm brought 25 firefighters to the scene at 11:30 p.m. The fire was burning in a second floor bedroom. The unit is uninhabitable, according to a press release from the Naperville Fire Department. American Red Cross was notified to provide assistance to the occupants of the home. The cause of the fire is under investigation.

Nearby fire departments of Darien-Woodridge, Plainfield and Westmont provided coverage for Naperville stations during the incident.
