Police Not Enforcing New Year's Eve Parking Rules, Even With Snow

If you're heading out into the cold New Year's Eve, you'll be rewarded the next morning with no ticket on your windshield.

NAPERVILLE, IL — No worries if you need to leave your car behind New Year's Eve in Naperville. Beginning at 2 a.m. Sunday, police will stop enforcing the city's overnight parking rules. This will last thru Tuesday at 5 a.m. That includes overnight city street parking and public garages, even if it's snowing.

Naperville's forecast calls for mostly clear skies New Year's Eve with a low around -7 degrees. If you have enough cold weather layers to get you through the evening, we have a few recommendations here, as well as what's on TV that night.
