The initial investigation suggests that Suominen was driving east on Ogden Avenue near the intersection with Rickert Drive, when his car left the road. Police said the car hit several curbs and lost contact with the ground twice, before rolling over, running into a billboard post and fence, and eventually stopping in a yard.
During the accident, the car's engine became dislodged and traveled into a nearby parking lot, along with a tire from Suominen's vehicle, which hit and damaged the passenger-side door of an unoccupied 2001 Audi parked in that lot, according to reports.
