Power Outages Affect Hundreds In Naperville Township

Hundreds of customers were still without power after Monday's snowfall.

NAPERVILLE, IL --- Monday's blizzard left Naperville with a snow accumulation of just over five inches, leading to slippery roads, school closures, and power outages throughout the city. The blizzard warning was in effect until 9 a.m., but hundreds of Naperville Township residents were still without power early Monday.

According to ComEd, roughly 400 customers had no electricity in Naperville Township as of 8:30 a.m. Officials say crews are working to assess damage and restore power to those affected.
