Protester Guilty of Making a False Report That Police Tried to Hit Him With Cruiser
The man had protested in downtown Naperville and in front of police headquarters

Donald Pritchard, a 50-year-old Lisle man, was found guilty of disorderly conduct in DuPage County Court on Tuesday, according to the Naperville Sun. Pritchard reported that a Naperville police officer tried to run him over when he was protesting in front of police headquarters on November 2, 2015.
The court found Pritchard's claim to be false. Video from the police car shows the vehicle passing two men who are standing on a sidewalk, and there was no indication of the reported misconduct by the officer driving.
Prior to his arrest in February 2016, Pritchard had been seen around Naperville with a large sign accusing Naperville police of racism.
