Red Arrow Tap Room To Reopen As Tapville Social

NAPERVILLE, IL — Red Arrow Tap Room will soon reopen as Tapville Social. The shift means customers will have a new dining menu and craft spirits from local distilleries, in addition to Tapville Social's famous self-pour beers, owner and CEO Joseph Tota told Patch.

At Tapville Social, just like at Red Arrow Tap Room, customers will be able to order via a mobile app and self-pour their own beers, which decreases the time needed to interact with a server amid the pandemic. Tota said this technology has helped his more than a dozen franchise locations stay successful throughout the coronavirus.

Tota said, "Even through the pandemic we’ve been doing well throughout the business because of our technology.”

Tota is bringing Chef Jacob Smith on board to craft a fresh menu of "housemade classics" that are designed to pair well with Tapville's drink menu. The menu features such favorites as a braised short rib and center cut pork chops, along with handhelds that include shrimp tacos and a poutine sandwich.

Vegetarians can enjoy a black bean burger, an arugula salad or a mezze Caesar salad, in addition to a number of appetizers and shareable items that range from pickle chips to pretzel bites.

"I think it’s one of the best menus we have put together with our concept," Tota told Patch.

With the rebranding comes an extensive new wine menu, an assortment of craft cocktails and local ciders that diners can sample.

Tapville Social will also feature a brunch menu on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. Diners can design and order a mimosa flight to pair with their brunch, Tota said.

Tapville Social is set to open in Naperville at 216 S. Washington St. on Oct. 2.
