Residents Urged To Take Shelter From Strong Winds
The National Weather Service put a severe thunderstorm warning into effect that will last until late Thursday night.
DUPAGE COUNTY, IL — The National Weather Service has issued a severe thunderstorm warning for DuPage County. The areas most affected will be Aurora, Plainfield and Chicago, with winds possibly reaching up to 60 mph. The warning will be in effect until about 8 p.m.
"Get inside a sturdy structure in/near Aurora & Plainfield!" the National Weather Service said in a statement.
