Salt Trucks Out In Naperville To Combat Slushy Streets

The snow is expected to keep falling until at least 7 p.m.

NAPERVILLE, IL — After large flurries of snow started falling Saturday afternoon, Naperville's Snow Operations sent out multiple trucks to salt the streets. As of 4:30 p.m., 23 large plows were deployed to spread salt throughout the city, which is expected to get snow until around 7 p.m.

City officials sent an alert urging drivers to use caution as the snow continues to fall and once it has accumulated. They said the streets are expected to be "snow-covered and slushy."
