Splash Pads Reopen At Naperville Parks For 2021 Season

The splash pads at 95th Street Community Plaza and Wolf's Crossing Community Park are both open as of May 21.

NAPERVILLE, IL — This summer, parents can take their kids to beat the heat at Naperville Park District's splash pads, which are open as of May 21 for the 2021 season.

The splash pads are located at:

  • 95th Street Community Plaza, 3109 Cedar Glade Dr.
  • Wolf's Crossing Community Park, 3252 Wolf's Crossing Rd.

At 95th Street Community Plaza, the splash pad feature first opened in July 2020. The new Wolf's Crossing Community Park, which spans 33 acres, debuted its splash pad May 20.

Each splash pad is open from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily, though inclement weather may prompt closures. Parents can click the link to check if a splash pad is open.

The capacity at each splash pad is 100 people. As of May 21, residents who are fully vaccinated against coronavirus are not required to wear face masks at Naperville Park District parks and facilities. People over the age of two who are not fully vaccinated must wear a face mask at Naperville Park District's parks, facilities and splash pads, when they are not playing in the splash pad.

The park district notes that exceptions may be made for people with medical conditions that prevent them from wearing a face mask.
