Teen Accused of Stealing Hot Dog Buns, Pushing Naperville Sergeant

NAPERVILLE, IL - Frank J. Knaperek, 18, was charged on March 13, 2016 with seven criminal offenses, after he allegedly tried to steal hot dog buns from a downtown Naperville food vendor and then pushed a police sergeant's face into a wall.
Knaperek faces a felony count of aggravated battery to a police officer and six lesser charges that include resisting or obstructing a police officer, attempted theft by deception, possession of a fraudulent identification card and underage consumption of alcohol, according to DuPage County Circuit Court records.
