Wall at Oswego Veterans Memorial Vandalized With Graffiti

There have been several incidents of graffiti in downtown Oswego over the past few weeks

The Veterans Memorial is one of several sites marked with graffiti in downtown Oswego, according to the Beacon News. Photographs on Only Oswego showed graffiti on the wall surrounding the veterans memorial.

Police have received seven reports of graffiti in the past three weeks. The markings are "@ Like" in yellow and black or white symbols featuring three arrows.

Only Oswego reports that the police are offering a $1,000 reward for information that leads to an arrest of those suspected of vandalizing the town.

"It's one thing getting people's personal property and businesses, it's enough to make you mad,"Rick Jacobsen told the Beacon News. Jacobsen is from a family of Marines, and he owns Jacobsen Lawn Service. He started a fund to add to the reward offered by police, and raised $1,300 by Sunday.
