Woman, 53, Killed In 4-Car Crash In Naperville

NAPERVILLE, IL — A Chicago woman died Tuesday morning following a four-car crash that took place in Naperville. Lesley Engel, 53, was pronounced dead at a local hospital shortly following the crash, which was reported near Naper Boulevard and Green Trails Drive

According to a preliminary investigation, police say Engel was driving a 2003 Toyota Camry south on Naper Boulevard when it veered into the opposite lane and hit a northbound maroon 2016 Honda CRV, causing it to roll over and land upright.

Police say a 2017 GMC Terrain and a 2011 Lincoln MKZ were unable to stop and collided with the cars.

The crash shut down Naper Boulevard between Green Trails Drive and Dunrobin Road until just after 1:15 p.m.
