Armed Robbery at New Lenox Sprint Store Tuesday Night: Police
Police have a description of the robber.

NEW LENOX, IL — An armed robbery was reported at the Sprint store in the 2300 block of East Route 30 (Lincoln Highway) Tuesday night. The robber is described as a black man, about 35 years of age, 6 feet tall, of thin build, and wearing a long dark coat with a hood.
The village of New Lenox issued a local Nixle alert for residents at 8:54 p.m., stating that the robbery had just occurred. Patch will update as additional information is gathered.
This armed robbery comes one day after an armed bank robbery in Frankfort at the Old Plank Trail Bank on LaGrange Road Monday night. That robber fled on foot.
