New Lenox Family Offers Reward for Return of Stolen Kawasaki Dirt Bike

A local family is offering $300 for the return of a dirt bike that was stolen from their Francis Road garage this week.

NEW LENOX - A local family is offering $300 for the return of a dirt bike that was stolen from their Francis Road garage this week.

A burglar, or burglars, snagged the 2004 Kawasaki KLX125 between 5:45 and 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 22, from a garage in the 200 block of West Francis Road in New Lenox, said Melissa Haney, the mother of the boy who owns the bike. The two-wheeler is green and white, and has a Monster sticker on its front.

Neighbors in the area said they spotted three boys that evening who were riding green Kawasaki dirt bikes along Francis Road, in or near the victim's driveway.
