$1,000 Reward in Hunt for Attacker
Palos Hills police need the public's help finding a suspect in three attacks on women—one in Palos Hills.
PALOS HILLS, IL — Palos Hills police are now offering a $1,000 reward for information that leads to the arrest of a man responsible for a sexual assault in the area, and two other attacks on women nearby.
The Palos Hills attack occurred Sept. 9 as the woman was returning home from work. The offender accosted the woman and ordered her at gunpoint to drive to another location, near 99th and 84th Avenue. He then sexually assaulted her.
The woman described him as a black male between 17 and 19 years old, 5-foot-6 to 5-foot-7, weighing between 120 and 127 pounds. He has large round eyes and a wide nose. He also has a light blemish on his left cheekbone.

Hickory Hills police believe the same offender is responsible for an attempted carjacking and aggravated kidnapping that took place Tuesday evening. The kidnapping victim was able to fend off her attacker.
