Alzein Pediatrics Welcomes Dr. Jingtao Huang

Dr. Hassan Alzein is pleased to announce the addition of Dr. Jingtao Huang to Alzein Pediatrics. Dr. Huang will see patients in both the Evergreen Park and Oak Lawn offices and Urgent Care next door to the Oak Lawn Children’s Museum, opening in May.

Dr. Huang earned his medical degree at the Peking University Health Science Center in Beijing, China, earned a Doctorate at Louisiana Tech University, and completed his pediatric residency at the University of Chicago Medical Center. Dr. Huang is board certified.

“We are excited to offer our patients the expertise that Dr. Huang offers,” said Alzein. “Dr. Huang brings our families outstanding pediatric care such as acute and chronic pediatric illness management, annual, sports and school physicals, well baby visits, immunizations, vaccinations and asthma and allergy care. He can diagnose and treat developmental delays, weight management and diabetes, help with feeding difficulties and perform ear piercing, wart removal and lead screenings. Because Dr. Huang has completed fellowship training in sleep medicine at Northwestern University McGaw Medical Center, he can also perform a thorough physical examination and provide an accurate diagnosis and appropriate, effective treatment for sleep problems.”

Dr. Huang brings an extensive research background and decades of practical experience to his work as a pediatrician. He moved to the Chicago area last year after a decade in Dubuque, Iowa and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where he worked in pediatrics and as a Medical Director.

Dr. Alzein says, “Dr. Huang is a valuable new addition to the Alzein Pediatrics team. Our families will be pleased with his calm and friendly bedside manner, his overall pediatric care and his unique knowledge of diagnosing and treating sleep issues.”

Alzein Pediatrics has offices in Evergreen Park and Oak Lawn. Alzein Pediatrics offers free Baby Basics classes on the first Monday evening of each month.
