PALOS HEIGHTS, IL — Beatles-acoustic tribute band, Kaleidoscope Eyes, opens is its summer touring season around the Chicago suburbs July 1 in Palos Heights, after a 16-month pandemic layoff.

“We are huge Beatles fans who strive to capture the magic of the songwriting, harmonies and silliness of the Beatles. We love to celebrate the music and memories of the Beatles with a lotta help from our friends,” according to the band’s bio.

The lads will start playing at 7 p.m. in Memorial Park, 7800 W. College Drive.

Spread out your blanket, unfold your chair and bring some snacks for an evening of Beatles music and to picture yourself in a boat on a river. Don’t forget the mosquito repellent and bring a face mask just in case, even if you are vaccinated.
