Community Meeting Will Address Plans For Former Hackney's

PALOS PARK, IL -- Representatives from Wu & Tran Palos Park LLC will meet with community members Thursday (May 16) to discuss their plans for the proposed renovation and expansion of the former Hackney’s Restaurant. The community meeting starts at 6:30 p.m. It will be held at the Palos Park Public Library, 12330 Forest Glen Blvd.

According to the Regional, plans call for the expansion of the existing building to approximately 17,300 square feet, including an expanded outdoor dining area. Hackney’s closed last December while the owners dealt with a building maintenance issue. The restaurant announced its closing at 123rd Street and LaGrange Road in January after 33 years.
