Eat Pancakes With Peter Rabbit And Hunt For Eggs In Palos Heights

PALOS HEIGHTS, IL -- Come hippity hoppity down to Palos Heights Parks and Recreation Center and enjoy some pancakes with Peter Rabbit from 9 to 10:15 a.m. Saturday, March 24. This event is for kids ages 2 through 8. The breakfast includes pancakes, sausage fruit, coffee and orange juice. Decorate egg-citing crafts. Peter Rabbit will be dropping by to pose for selfies with the kids. This is a pre-registered event. Register by March 16 at Palos Heights Parks and Recreation Department, 6601 W. 127th St, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. or Saturday, 8 a.m. to noon or online (new users must first open an account in person). The cost for children is $10/resident and $15/non-resident. Adults are $7/resident and $10/non-resident.

After breakfast, stroll over to Community Park at 76th Ave and College Dr. in Palos Heights as you scramble for eggs filled with treasures. Bring your own basket to collect eggs and don't forget your camera to get some pictures with the Palos Heights Easter Bunny. This event runs rain or shine and make sure to arrive early as the hunt begins Saturday, March 24, at 11 a.m. sharp. There will be age group designations for the FREE egg hunt.
