The hospital's planned $133 million project is set to expand its south campus, at 15300 West Ave, razing the Palos Health and Fitness Center. A protest rally was set last weekend on March 12 opposing the expansion of the Palos Community Hospital's Orland campus.
Yellow is the color used by Save PHFC on its Facebook page, which had grown to 637 members by Thursday.
In a March 1st letter to the Illinois Health Facilities and Services Review Board, Orland Township Supervisor Paul O'Grady attacked the hospital for omitting plans to shutter the center.
