Owner searching for vehicle stolen from outside apartment building in Palos Hills.
PALOS HILLS, IL — A Palos Hills man is frantically searching for his truck that was stolen from outside his apartment in the early morning hours of Sept. 21.
Kyle Agner says he didn't think anything of it when he first heard a car alarm sound, then minutes later watched helplessly from his window as someone drove away in his Ford F-150.
The truck was taken from a parking lot at 89th Avenue and 97th Street just after 1 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 21. Agner believes someone was trying door handles to find unlocked cars in the vicinity. Whoever took the truck gained access with a spare key stored in a relative's unlocked car parked nearby. He reported it stolen within minutes. A police report has been filed.
