Hills Chamber Hosts Second Food Drive For Elsie's Pantry

PALOS HILLS, IL — The Hills Chamber of Commerce serving Palos Hills and Hickory Hills is sponsoring a second contactless food drive for Elsie's Pantry, 10040 S 88th Ave., Palos Hills, from 9 a.m. to noon Wednesday, Dec. 16.

The number of people seeking weekly food assistance has doubled, many of whom have lost income and jobs since the beginning of the pandemic.

Drop off non-perishable food items or you are planning to run out to the grocery store or ordering online, grab a few extra things for the drive-thru food drive. Elsie's Pantry is located at Our Divine Savior Lutheran Church.
