'Holidays In The Heights' Offers Expanded Kris Kringle Mart

PALOS HEIGHTS, IL — Celebrate Holidays in the Heights, featuring a greatly expanded Kris Kringle Market this Friday and Saturday, Dec. 6 and Dec. 7. The holiday festivities will be held inside a lighted and heated tent at the Palos Heights municipal parking lot, 12217 S. Harlem Ave. Enjoy live holiday music, crafts, food and drink, festive lights and more.

Seventy-five vendors have been lined up offering holiday crafts, food and more (sorry, vendor space is full). Stroll along Olde Palos Shopping Centre where unique local shops and restaurants await. The fest also features a food and beverage tent, offering beer and wine. Kids can visit Santa and work on crafts and other fun activities.

Hours for the two-day winter frolic are 5 to 9 p.m. Friday, Dec. 6, starting with a tree-lighting ceremony at 4:45 p.m. The holiday festival continues from 1 to 7 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 7.

Santa will be dropping by from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, and 1 to 7 p.m. Saturday.
