The library is hosting an exciting family presentation for all ages on Saturday, July 7th at 11 a.m.

PALOS PARK, IL -- Palos Park's 'Little Library in the Woods' will be hosting a family presentation that's sure to take your kids' eyes off of their screens for an hour or so. A naturalist from the Little Red Schoolhouse will lead the audience through several hands-on activities as they explore the many species of reptiles and amphibians that dwell in the Palos area. Snakes, frogs, toads, turtles, and salamanders, including a number of live specimens, will be on display.

This free presentation is slated for 11 a.m. in the Community Room on Saturday, July 7th. Online registration can be found on the Palos Park Library's website.

The Palos Park Library has many more children's programs planned for the rest of the summer, including an ice cream social! Check out the library's summer newsletter for more.
