Man Robs Palos Park Sandwich Shop at Gunpoint

PALOS PARK, IL — Palos Park Police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred Monday morning at a local sandwich store.

The robbery took place at Subway, 11901 80th. Ave. A suspect described as a black male is seen on surveillance wearing a black hoodie and a mask over his mouth. Police say he pointed a handgun at a cashier and demanded cash.

The suspect is captured on video fleeing the scene in a black, four-door vehicle. The vehicle was seen heading southbound on 80th Avenue.

Evidence technicians are processing through evidence and video of nearby businesses is being reviewed and enhanced. No vehicle plate information at this time.
