Man Stabbed In Palos Heights Domestic Dispute: Cops
Police say parties in Wednesday's stabbing in West Gate Valley subdivision are being uncooperative so charges may not be filed.
PALOS HEIGHTS, IL — A man was stabbed Wednesday afternoon in the posh Westgate Valley subdivision, in what Palos Heights police are describing as a domestic incident. Police say there is no threat to the community.
Around 4 p.m., police went to the Westgate Valley for a report of a person stabbed. Officers found a man bleeding outside a home in the 200 block of Sawgrass Drive.
“He was going in and out of consciousness,” said Div. Chief Bill Czajkowski, of the Palos Heights Police Department.

The man lost a large amount of blood and was immediately taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn. Meanwhile, police from other nearby towns arrived to help seal the house for investigation.
According to Czajkowski, the injured man and another man got into an argument inside the home. Both men, who knew each other, were having an argument which escalated into one of the men being stabbed. Czajkowski did not know if the knife came from inside the home.
