Michelle Anne Dutkiewicz

Michelle Anne Dutkiewicz (nee Roza) of Oak Forest, IL passed away on June 2, 2021. She was the loving wife of Edward and mother to Alicia, Zachary, and Amanda.

Michelle is also survived by her sister Marguerite (John Falkenholm) Roza. She was the cherished sister-in-law to Dyanne (Dutkiewicz) Tully and a beloved aunt, niece, cousin, colleague, and friend of many. May she rest in peace alongside her parents Donald and Therese (Pawlowski) Roza, sister Teresa (Roza) Evans, and in-laws Stanley and Lottie (Zolnierczakiewicz) Dutkiewicz.

Michelle was born on October 18, 1965, grew up in Chicago, IL, and graduated from Marie Curie High School and DePaul University. She was known for her optimism, her incredible strength and determination, and for always putting others before herself. She will be greatly missed by all.

Family and friends will gather for memorial visitation and celebration of life on Sunday, June 13, 2021, from 1-5 pm at Lake Katherine Nature Center and Botanic Gardens, EG Simpson Clubhouse, 7402 Lake Katherine Dr, Palos Heights, IL 60463. A brief prayer service will be held at 1:30 pm and light hors d'oeuvres and refreshments will be provided. Outside beverages are also allowed. Please note that masks are required by the venue for those who are not vaccinated, and preferred for all guests while indoors. Outdoor balconies and spacious accommodations allow for social distancing.

In lieu of flowers, please send love and support to her family. Any donations will go towards dedicating a tree in her name as well as other expenses during this difficult time. For those who wish, her family suggests planting sunflower seeds to grow some sunshine in her memory.
