Moraine Valley Seeks Employers To Conduct Mock Job Interviews
Volunteers from the business community are needed to conduct mock interviews to help job hunters polish their interviewing skills.
PALOS HILLS, IL -- Employers are needed to participate in a mock interviewing sessions at Moraine Valley Community College from 2 to 5 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 20. Mock Interview Day is a prelude to the Job Resource Center's spring job fair that will be held in March. Interviewers should be affiliated with a business and have experience conducting professional interviews.
Business professionals will engage in formal, 30-minute mock interview with students, alumni and community members. During the first 20 minutes, employers will ask a series of general interview questions provided by the college. The remaining ten minutes will be used to offer feedback and helpful tips to the interviewees, so that they may prepare for the Moraine Valley Job Fair on Thursday, March 28, where dozens of employers will networking with local talent.
