He Tells Cops He's Marked for Death After They Find Guns, Drugs in His Home
Police found a stash of weapons, more than 50 pounds of suspected marijuana, and $120K in the Palos Park home.
PALOS PARK, IL — A Palos Park man was arrested Saturday after police raided his home and discovered an estimated 54 pounds of marijuana, more than $120,000 in cash, and three guns—including a shotgun.
When Chicago police, the FBI, Bridgeview and Palos Park officers descended on the home in the 11700 block of South 85th Avenue, Marc S. Jandura, 31, tried to flee by jumping off his balcony to a lower deck. Police stopped him there, while a search inside turned up two handguns and a shotgun; about 24,516 grams, or 54 pounds, of cannabis; $120,906 cash; and drug packaging and weighing equipment, Daily Southtown reports.
Jandura was taken to Homan Square, where he told police he feared for his life because "n****s straight tryin' to kill me," according to the report.
