Oak Tree Damaged, Spitting, Forced Entry: Palos Hills Blotter

Palos Hills police reports, Jan. 11 through Jan. 14.

Forced Entry

Residents came home around 2:45 p.m. Jan. 11 to find their front door forced home. Police said the house was ransacked. Approximately $2,400 worth of valuables were missing.

Young Oak Tree Damaged

Police were called to the 7600 block of Michael Drive. Someone damaged a young oak tree sometime before 11 a.m. Jan. 13.

Spitter

Police are investigating a battery that occurred around 12:40 p.m. Jan. 13 in the 7500 block of 103rd Street. A man drove up in a white car. He got out and spit in the resident’s face.

Stolen Mail

Residents reported that someone stole their in the 8400 block of 99th Terrace sometime before 4:30 p.m. Jan. 14. Incidents of stolen mail have been reported around the Palos area.
