Palos Heights Woman's Club House Walk Brings Magic of Christmas

There's still time to buy tickets for the Palos Heights Woman's Club's Christmas breakfast, boutique and house walk on Saturday, Dec. 8.

PALOS HEIGHTS, IL -- The Palos Heights Woman’s Club will be making believers in the magic of Christmas at the club’s breakfast, boutique and house walk Saturday, Dec. 8. This is the club’s biggest fundraiser of the year. The Christmas Walk features breakfast, raffles, a boutique and a house walk to put attendees in the holiday spirit, including:

  • The festive day starts with breakfast from 9 to 11:30 a.m. at the Palos Country Club, 131st Street and Southwest Highway, Orland Park.
  • Indulge yourself at one of the many vendors at the holiday boutique. Select unique gifts for your holiday gift giving from one of the many vendors, 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
  • A variety of themed baskets will be raffled off for the "win-win" event.
  • Tour four beautifully decorated homes in the Palos area that capture the true meaning of the holidays from noon to 3 p.m.
  • An optional "Afterglow" party will be offered from 2 to 6 p.m. at Kefi Greek Cuisine and Bar, 12200 S. Harlem Ave., Palos Heights. $5 martinis and discount appetizers are featured.

Featured houses include a ranch home in Westgate, decorated in an eclectic flair; and two homes in Olde Palos, decorated in farmhouse chic and the second, a 1939 home in the Bartlett subdivision with seven additions. The fourth is an expansive home that is great for entertaining, club member Patt Bailey said.
