Palos Heights Woman's Club Showcases Holiday Decked Houses

PALOS HEIGHTS, IL — There will be much jingle belling and mistletoeing at the Palos Heights Woman's Club Christmas House Walk and breakfast Saturday, Dec. 14. This is the club's biggest fundraiser of the year. The Christmas House Walk features breakfast, raffles, a boutique and a house walk to put attendees in the holiday spirit, including:

• The festive day starts with breakfast from 9 to 11:30 a.m. at the Palos Country Club, 131st Street and Southwest Highway, Orland Park. Doors open at 8:30 a.m. for sitting.
• Indulge yourself at one of the many vendors at the holiday boutique. Select unique gifts for your holiday gift giving from one of the many vendors, 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
• Homemade baked cookie sale
• A variety of themed baskets will be raffled off for the "win-win" event.
• Tour beautifully decorated homes in the Palos area that capture the true meaning of the holidays from noon to 3 p.m.
• Afterglow party at Kefi Greek Cuisine and Bar, 12200 S. Harlem Ave., Palos Heights. $5 martinis and specially priced appetizers are featured.

The house walk features four beautifully decorated homes in old Palos, including a home in Ishanala.

Tickets are $45 and can be purchased through Dec. 9 at these locations:

• Mona Lisa Boutique, 14215 S. LaGrange Road, #136, Orland Park (open every day)
• Doughs Guys Bakery, 12248 S. Harlem Ave., Palos Heights (closed Monday)
