Palos Hills Man Accused of Luring Teen for Sex

Authorities allege the 31-year-old man set up a sexual encounter with the teen between the ages of 13 and 17.

A Palos Hills man last month allegedly lured a teenager to Forest Park to have sex, authorities claim.

Steven Danalewich, 31, faces charges of aggravated criminal sexual abuse of a child, traveling to meet a minor and sexual exploitation of a child, Chicago Tribune reports.  He appeared in court on Tuesday.

Police say Danalewich persuaded the child to visit Forest Park, with the intention of having sex with a child at least 13 years old, but no older than 17, according to the report. He was arrested May 16. He is alleged to have made sexual contact with the child prior to the arrest.
