Palos Park Marks Memorial Day With Remembrance Ceremonies

PALOS PARK, IL -- Palos Park is fortunate to have two Memorial Day Remembrance Ceremonies, which this year falls on Monday, May 28. The Palos Historical Society will host a ceremony at 11 a.m. at the historic Oak Hill Cemetery at 131st Street and Southwest Highway.

The Village of Palos Park will hold a Memorial Day Remembrance Ceremony on Memorial Day, which this year falls on Monday, May 28. The ceremony is set for 1 p.m. Residents will gather by the Veterans of Foreign Wars Memorial on the village green located at 8901 West 123rd St. in Palos Park. The remembrance ceremony is being held in conjunction with the Orland-Palos Reber-Tesmond Memorial VFW Post #2604.
