Palos Park Plans Children and Dog Easter Egg Hunts This Saturday
Kids and dogs can enjoy Easter magic this Saturday, March 31, with two egg hunts in Palos Park.

PALOS PARK, IL -- Enjoy a Magical Easter Egg Hunt and visit with the Easter Bunny at the Palos Park Recreation Center this Saturday, March 31. The Palos Park Recreation Department is partnering with the Palos Park Library to bring some egg-excitement to the day, starting at 2 p.m. The egg hunt is for children up to nine years old.
The hunt will take place around the Recreation Center Gym, 6601 W. 127th St., Palos Park. The afternoon kicks off with a free magic show by Kevin Kelly at 2 p.m., followed by the big wabbit's arrival at 3:15 p.m. on a Palos Park Fire Protection District fire truck.
Thousands of filled eggs will be hidden on the Village Green with special eggs redeemed for prizes. Egg hunt areas will be divided by age groups. Bring a bag or basket to collect eggs. Pictures with the Easter Bunny will begin immediately following egg hunt, so charge those smartphones.

Hoppy Dog Egg Hunt
After the children’s egg hunt, head to the Palos Park Village Green with your canine buddy for the Hoppy Dog Egg Hunt starting at 4 p.m. Dress your pooch in his or her best spring outfit and join the parade. The Easter Bunny will be hanging around for photo ops while dogs sniff around for eggs.
The Hoppy Dog Egg Hunt is sponsored by Kriser’s Natural Pet and Ludwig Feed Store. All dogs must be on a leash. Pre-registration is not required but strongly recommended. The Palos Park Village Green is located at 8901 123rd St.
