Palos Park Police Cadets Kick Off Holiday Food Drive
Police cadets are collecting non-perishable food items Nov 11 through Jan. 1 for the Palos Township Food Pantry.

PALOS PARK, IL — The Palos Park Police Cadets will launch their annual Holiday Food Drive starting Nov. 11. The group is seeking donations of non-perishable foods such as canned or boxed goods. The cadets will accept donations at the Palos Park Police Department, at 8999 W. 123rd St. through Jan. 1, 2021.
Many families have lost income during the pandemic and area food pantries are reporting dramatic increases in people seeking food assistance.
All donations will go to the Palos Township Food Pantry located 10802 S. Roberts Road in Palos Hills, which assists families that are from towns within the Palos Township border, which include Palos Heights, Palos Hills, Palos Park, Hickory Hills, Worth, Willow Springs and parts of Orland Park.
