Palos Park Tree Lighting and Holiday Market Set For Friday
Santa visits, craters, tree lighting and more in Palos Park this Friday, Dec. 6.
PALOS PARK, IL — Palos Park will be hauling out the holly on Friday, Dec. 6, for the village’s tree lighting and holiday market. Everyone is welcome to come and join in the fun from 5 to 9 p.m. at the Palos Park Recreation Center, 8901 W. 123rd St.
This FREE community event has become a holiday tradition for residents. Mayor John Mahoney will be joined by Santa and his numero uno lady Mrs. Claus as they illuminate the tree at 6:30 p.m. Kids can visit Santa’s craft workshop and shop at the Holiday Market inside the rec center, featuring a wide array of vendors and crafters.
