PALOS PARK, IL — Palos Park residents are invited to a “conversation hub” to offer their feedback on the village’s master plan to guide the future growth and development of newly annexed areas. The open house takes place 5 to 7 p.m. May 13 at the Kaplan Administration Center, 8999 W. 123rd St. The evening also features brief presentations at 5 and 6 p.m.

The guidelines are intended to assist the village and developers in the creation of attractive residential and commercial developments in the Palos Park Western Growth Area (WGA) in a manner that supports and reinforces the overall charm and character of the community. Residents can read the 44-page draft on the village website.

A public hearing on the master plan is planned for 7 p.m. May 20, also at the Kaplan Administration Center. Residents will have the opportunity to offer public comments.
