Public Invited to Free Concert at Swallow Cliff
Live music set to debut at newly enhanced forest preserve Thursday, Aug. 11.
PALOS PARK, IL — The Forest Preserves of Cook County, in partnership with the Village of Palos Park, invites the public to enjoy the summer sounds of Johnny Russler and the Beach Bum Band during Concert at the Cliff at Swallow Cliff on Thursday, Aug. 11.
Attendees can bring chairs, blankets and picnic baskets for a relaxing evening. During the event, attendees can also explore Swallow Cliff’s recent enhancements, which includes a new limestone stair set and pavilion.
The Swallow Cliff Pavilion offers indoor rental space, a warming shelter and restrooms, as well as the Swallow Cliff Café where visitors can purchase a variety of grab-and-go snacks and beverages. The stairs at Swallow Cliff have long been a popular exercise destination, and visitors can now complete a circuit using 293 total steps.

Concert at the Cliff begins at 6:30 p.m., and is free to attend. Swallow Cliff is located at 10267 Calumet Sag Rd in Palos Hills. For more information, call 708-671-3760.
